Coronado is a city on a Peninsula in beautiful San Diego. Its known for the Grand Victorian Hotel del Coronado, which opened in 1888! Ahhhh, Newport Beach has the charm and the luxury bundled into one city. This is the go-to city if you’re looking to surf, get your bronze on, hit the beach with the family, or are just looking for that perfect beach photo. The boardwalk stretches down most of the peninsula and will give you a prime look at some of the most expensive real estate. Huntington Beach is going to be the most laid back and best of all the beaches in Southern California. Surf city, as many will call it, is home of the US Open of Surfing every year. The surf competition usually takes place the end of July through the beginning of August and brings travelers from all over the world into this beach town! The beaches of Huntington Beach stretch 8.5 miles long and every mile has surf worthy waves! You’ll find right around the HB Pier to be the most crowded during the Summer time due to the best surf and bars, restaurants, and shopping all walking distance. There is impeccable dining near by and plenty of shopping along to boardwalk.
The Santa Monica Pier is loaded with fun. You’ll find amusement park rides, carnival food, and even an aquarium! Walk out to the end of the pier for some incredible views, and don’t forget to look back at that picturesque coastline, especially at sunset! Great place for a family outing!
